Harvey Shulman

Dr. Shulman is a member of the cognitive psychology program. His interests in attention and memory are pursued in both his teaching and research. Research in progress includes work on attention to rapidly changing visual and auditory streams, the effects of hormone fluctuations on memory and cognition, and the interplay of various inhibitory mechanisms in oculomotor control systems. Dr. Shulman's laboratory is equipped for brainwave recording, and the examination of event related potentials is an integral part of his research on attention and inhibitory processes.
